You could never accuse Audi of skimping on the luxury inside the C6 RS6. As standard, it had electrically adjustable RS sport seats in the front and satin Nappa leather upholstery. There should be no obvious wear inside the car, but make sure the driver's seat outside bolster isn't threadbare.
A flat-bottomed steering wheel marked out the RS from other A6 models, while paddle shifters offered a manual override for the automatic gearbox. Both the front and rear seats are heated, and other equipment included automatic wipers and lights, cruise control and six airbags.
The Audi Music Interface allows for Bluetooth handsfree phone connection. Early cars worked on a 2G version, but it can still connect to most smartphones and iPods. From 2009, the RS6 switched to a 3G system. Also fitted to all RS6s was satellite navigation with traffic management, six-disc CD changer and DAB digital radio working through a BOSE surround sound setup.
There are quite a lot of electronic components hidden under the passenger seat, so make sure occupants are careful when the swig from a water bottle or coffee cup.
PHer's view:
"Solid build inside feels that bit better than in other Audis. Maybe it's the RS badge effect or that it was built on a separate line at Neckarsulm."
