A Zonda C12S, a heavily tweaked XJ220 and a Ferrari Enzo. Not bad cars to have in your garage, really, and even better when this little triumvirate is supplemented - as in this case - by an F430 Spider, a Nissan GTR and a Mercedes SL63 AMG.
But if you can't have them in your own garage, merely being in their presence has got to be pretty special. And if you get a chance to drive them, well, all the better, really.
Which is just what PHer and professional snapper GFWilliams got to do when he shot this trio of supercar legends - lucky swine. Okay, so it was only on a private driveway, but when that drive is half a mile long, we imagine you can get quite a speed up...
"The Enzo was very easy to drive," says GF. "You can tell with any poke of the throttle that it is a very quick car, although it feels very progressive and not what you would call savage.
"The Zonda had the nicest interior. Everything is very bespoke and I could happily sit in it for hours on end! The sound was just divine from it too, the 7.2-litre Mercedes engine doesn't just look great; it also performs great and sounds great.
"The XJ220 was the most interesting in my opinion. It was tuned by TWR to have about 700bhp and felt like a race car. When you start up the engine it sounds horrible. The V6 out of the Metro 6R4 is clearly a race engine and the term turbo lag would be an understatement (uprated turbos probably do not help matters). When you put your foot down, it accelerates like my Mini for a few seconds, then everything goes supersonic and soon you're hard on the race brakes trying to stop it in the small amount of space."
Crikey. Doesn't sound like a bad day's work, GF. And not bad POTWs, we feel...
