America is the land of XXL. Big Gulps from a petrol station are 1.5-litres of good(bad)ness, a single food portion could feed an entire family, and cars are the size of a city block. Ok, maybe not the last one, but you get the picture.
The Ford Raptor is the epitome of XXL American motoring, a proportionally vast vehicle which is equally capable of dominating terrain on and off-road. Here in the UK though, where things are ever so slightly smaller and daintier, the F-150 is a bit of an anomaly. It doesn't fit in parking spaces and it definitely won't get through width restrictions, but you can't help but want to have a go.
Nic drove it earlier in the week finding that, despite its size, bits of tarmac that would normally be avoided in any other car can be attacked hard, allowing it to be driven quickly for something so large. When it came to picking the perfect picture for this week though, we couldn't quite decide between an urban shot or an off-road one. In urban surroundings the Raptor looms over garages ready to pounce on an unsuspecting victim, whilst off-road it just powers through whatever is in its way.
