Here's one we really lucked out on. Because North Wales, in the middle of December, is not a time or a place you would think should suit a pair of convertible Lamborghinis. But here's the proof: tops down, sun peering through, and a pair of happy chaps doing the driving.
Aventador SVJ Roadster and Huracan Evo Spyder is not a conventional comparison, instead a celebration of all that's great about Lamborghini supercars. Primarily it's going to be a feature, on page and on video, about their wondrous engines. Unfettered by turbos or electrification, the SVJ's 6.5-litre V12 and the Evo's 5.2-litre V10 represent all that we love about supercar powerplants: the noise, the speed, the scalpel sharp response and the feel of power building and building to the exciting side of 8,000rpm.
As static displays these engines would be memorable; dropped in the middle of sensational supercars and they make for incredible driving experiences. That's something Dan Prosser will talk more about very soon, so keep a look out for the feature and video in the next few days. Until then, we have the two stunning Lamborghinis in Welsh almost-sunshine for another Pic of the Week wallpaper. Look pretty good, don't they? Wait until you hear them...
