Litchfield LM20: PH Videoblog

Is 675hp just the right amount for a GT-R?

Tuned Nissan GT-Rs, indeed tuned Nissan Skylines, are nothing new. Since the early 90s various people have tried various methods to release more performance and more fun from the legendary GT-R. You've probably done the same virtually as well.

Litchfield has been practicing its modifying craft for a while now, its experience with the current R35 GT-R stretching back nearly a decade. Yes, that's really how long imported GT-Rs have been in the UK. Its latest creation is the LM20, a car revealed at the Autosport show and driven on these pages very recently.

Now here's the vid! As you may have gathered previously, the LM20 represents the culmination of all Litchfield's tuning experience with these cars and therefore gets a host of trick parts: the Bilstein Damptronic dampers are completely overhauled, there are Alcon brakes, and the car uses Michelin Cup 2 tyres with HRE wheels - don't forget the carbon parts too, which have proven aero benefits.

Even before the power, it sounds like a GT-R that's worth the premium and delivers further on the car's considerable promise. Is it good enough to justify £100K? Over to Dan!
